Like rumors through a hallway, the lie continues to grow.
Now spun is a web of wire.
I dread the day of truth and innocence.
Loss and emptiness fills the heart,
Remorse prevails when truth is revealed.
A desired love destroyed instantly,
And I am to blame.
Dark clouds blanket the sky,
Understanding the pain in my heart.
Tears fall from the skies,
To accompany the hurt from my eyes.
In the distance comes a shadow,
Not of doom but forgiveness.
A broken heart was revealed.
Words spoken were cherished,
And I thank God for believers.
