Nanapush vs. Pauline
Nanapush and Pauline are two very different people. While Nanapush is a sort of father figure, he is also the Trickster of the story, Pauline is the Shaman. Also when Pauluine s and Nanapush s lines are looked at more carefully, we can see that Pauline seems to be more connected with people, like she is always comparing herself to other people. Nanapush seems to talk more about the land, incorperating phares and other things from nature into his speach, showing his connection with the land. Pauline also has a very large sex drive, while Nanapush is more subtile, not really showing much of a sex drive at all.
