The Upanishads describe god in a close description to what we had said in class. They claim that he is in everything. That he is all knowing and is in charge. They claim that he is the one ruler, that when it comes down to it, he is the only one that is in control. He controls nature, fire, air, the sun and the world.
He is in charge of the heavens, and if we know him we will be immortal like him.
The Upanishads differ to our knowledge of god in one major way. We stated in class that god made us in his likeness. But the Upanishads claim that he in formless, he has many shapes and can be anything
