An American citizen has many responsibilities to keep America and his/her community going. Some of these responsibilities might be -1. Duty : Every citizen has a duty to vote!Reason : As citizens you have the duty to beinformed about the issues and hold an opinionon them that is for the benefit of the wholesociety. With this knowledge, a citizen shouldact by voting to influence and support ourelected officials in their jobs as ourrepresentatives. 2. Duty : Every citizen has a duty to follow the law.
Reason : Every citizen has a duty to follow the law given to us by the government of theUnited States of America and it was given to us for a reason.. That reason is so the streetsand city’s of America are safe for people and children. 3. Duty : Every citizen has a duty to be part of there community. Reason : Citizens have a duty to help there community when it needs help or take care of itwhen something is wrong and every citizen should be apart of that. Those are just a few of the many duties citizens have to offer the country!
