I went to Hawaii on vacation to get a tan, but I got something else instead. Ultraviolet rays are stronger, and hotter near the equator. When I got home I got x-rays. I was sent for treatment with gamma rays. Wow! What a vacation.
It was so hot that I had to jump into a pool just to cool off. Ultraviolet rays have wavelengths between 10nm and 430 nm. I think that overexposure to ultraviolet waves caused my sunburn and skin cancer.

They also have the highest photon energy emissions on the electromagnetic spectrum. The Gamma rays were able to destroy the skin cancer cells after a few treatments.
The skin cancer was treated and I was normal again in a few days. The Gamma rays played a big part in destroying the cancer cells. I was sort of glad that I had broken my leg, other wise I wouldn?t have gotten x-rays and discovered the skin cancer. I hate the ultraviolet rays; they gave me cancer, next time I will use sunscreen! I will never forget my Hawaiian vacation.
