He wakes up every morning in hopes of reaching work without having any obstacles on the way. If
conflicts arise, he solves them. On his way to work, he can sense people?s impending tragedies and
he takes his time out to help them with their situation. When he finally reaches work, not only does
he get more work done than any other employee, but he gets them done more efficiently at a fraction
of the time. Not only is he fast, he is a genius for this man can read an epic in a few seconds and then
compose a coherent essay in a matter of minutes.
He takes the elevator to reach his office at work. While standing in the elevator he can hear
people talking floors away from where he stands. Surprisingly enough, no one else in the elevator
can hear sounds outside of it. If one of his co-workers talks behind his back by whispering while he
stands hundreds of feet away, he surprises them by coming up to them and proving them wrong.
How he is able to hear the workers while he minds his business at a distance far away always
remains a wonder to those who hold negative opinions about him. Some of them think he holds
physic powers, but he doesn?t have any of those.
Yet with all his abilities, he proves to be failure at the simplest tasks. While at work, he
struggles to open a can of peanuts. Whenever he aims and shoots a crumbled newspaper to the
trash can, he misses each time. When he picks up a box he makes it seem like it?s heavier than it is.
He goes to the extreme by wearing eyeglasses when he has perfect vision in the least. All of these
incapabilities, however, don’t show when he?s alone. He pretends he is clumsy, weak, and farsighted
only when around others.
Never has he failed to follow morals set by society. Those that raised him taught him right
from wrong well. He calls them his parents, but he never finds out who his real parents are. One can
say the real parents don?t even exist on Earth. In his youth, his parents realized he was not another
typical teenager, but they didn?t tell the world he was different; from birth his parents kept every
strange act of his to themselves.
He is able to sense everyone?s fatal problems. Sadly enough, other than those close to him,
no one can recognize his problematic secret, which forces him to lie in explanations for his behavior.
If people knew the reason behind his usual sudden behavior they would appraise him rather than
condemn him. He takes the blame from society to help society. On second thought, however, it?s
something that he wishes to keep to himself, for if society knew, his only reason of being on this
planet would cease to exist. The girl he adores and loves would be abducted if his identity is
revealed. Not only to law-abiding citizens, but to villains too, he would then be invaluable.
This man, however, doesn?t want to be paid millions to rescue people just seconds before
they burn in a crashing airplane or hit the ground from falling from a tower. He doesn?t mind walking
through fire to merely check if someone he doesn?t know is left in a burning building. He volunteers
to roam around the city at midnight to make sure everyone is in sound condition. This journalist
doesn?t mind leaving his workplace with a sorry excuse for his boss to change the direction of an
asteroid heading towards Earth. The individual would rather eat crypton than have a good citizen get
hurt.
Him being a work of fiction in comic books and television, children look at him with a certain
kind of respect. He has given many kids a feeling of wanting to be more than just one character in
life and to achieve more. This alien lives on Earth for the love of a woman named Lois. In the
fictional world, he is famous to everyone, yet recognized almost by no one. Living with two separate
identities, he?s not only a great man, he is a superman. His name is Clark Kent.
