It is the year 2025, and the world has gone bad. The corporation, General Atomics practically runs the world. People are starving in the streets, women are selling themselves for money, and people are selling drugs everywhere. For Ben Richards, this is what he sees in his everyday life. His little daughter is very ill and is on the brink of death. The only way that Richards can save his daughter?s life is to enter a game show were he must put his life on the line for money. This show is called ?The Running Man.? A show where people are glued to their TV sets not to see the contestant succeed and win a billion dollars, but to see them lose everything and die. Richards must survive thirty days anywhere in the world without being assassinated. With no one on Richards?s side he must think of how he can keep on living for 30 days to save his daughter…..
