The following morning is a dreadful, long one that stays with you forever. The memories in your mind keep crawling up every night when you fall asleep. You keep asking yourself, Why did it happen to me? What did I do wrong? Yet no answer comes to mind, all that you can think of is being violated, being misled for a simple task-rape. Why does it happen to us? What do the men see when the door is opened and a gorgeous women stands in front of their eyes. The mind collapses trying to find a solution to the problem. It’s like having an exam and the only way for you to score is to cheat. So all girls are just scores guys try to push themselves upon? The mind grows blank and the human body works with sexual instinct. Date rape is one of those things that one man can’t find a proper answer for. There are so many possibilities that one might think of as the cause of the problem. Which one is the right one? Is there one specific answer that is physiologically correct? No. Everyone has his or her own opinion, whether it is from experience or from common knowledge. Date rape is mainly cased by the in-proper behavior of the rapist. A man who can rape a woman has obviously been brought up in an uncomfortable, improper raised environment.
A young boy who watches violent sex related movies, is most likely to be sexually violent in his life. A child who is not taught from right and wrong is not going to understand what a girl might want out of a date compared to his urges. Men don’t necessarily understand that “No” actually means no. Stubbornness works strongly with the mind. A young boy looks up to his father, he wants to be like his father, and act like his father. When the parents ignore their children it causes them to become very free in their decisions; it makes them believe that they can do whatever they please. For example, if a child is being ignored by both o his parents, than they are not around that child when he or she do something wrong. Yet the child doesn t know that. The child thinks that if no one stops his or her actions than he can do it again. That is how bullies are raised-it leads the mind to more. If one can push kids around in school, who can stop those kids from pushing around their girlfriends.
The victim is never at fault. A girl will never go up to a boy and ask him to rape her, violate her mind and her body. Many men and some women would say that the way a lady dresses does imply sexual assumptions. That is not true; a woman should have a right to dress as she pleases. A female should be able to dress as sexy as she feels without being afraid of men who don’t know dream from reality. A guy might think that he can have his way with a girl whenever he pleases; yet in the real world, she is entitled to her rights and he has none to take her freedom of expression away. If a girl wears a short dress that simply states that she finds herself beautiful and doesn’t mind expressing her body. A boy might see someone who is just a slut, or simply asking for some degrading. That degrading in one’s head might be rape.
Every seven minutes of every hour on every day a woman is being raped. When you re in school, when you re at work, or when you re simply hanging out with your friends, one unfortunate lady is being abused physically and mentally. How can this be stopped? If only one knew the answer. A fairly large part of the female population might just say to themselves, Oh that will never happen to me. I wouldn t let that happen to me. How can they be so sure? Can a woman honestly know a man that well to say that such a thing is not going to happen? Of course not. The mind is unpredictable. Sudden reflexes might cause a man to throw a woman on the bed and violate her body. Some rapists never had any problems in their home and they still go out and infringe a woman s body. Some men just do it to make them feel superior. There is no one specific cause to the issue of date rape; there lie many small pieces. The puzzle might never even be put together. People study such violent behavior and try to figure out a way to fix it, but they are missing many pieces of the game. Will they ever find them? When will a woman be able to dress as she pleases without being accused of looking like a whore? When will it be safe to go out on a first date with a gentleman and feel no discomfort what so ever? A sexy outfit is worn for a man not to rape, but to please. A female tries to look attractive to a male simply to catch his attention. Why do they think otherwise? Hopefully one day the mystery will be solved and such horrible acts will never happen again.
